If you want to change the text in the WordArt, double-click the WordArt that you want to change, and then type the new text in the Text box. All this is possible in Writer, or LibreOffice Writer. This could curve left or right, depending on how you want your heading formatted. The curved heading could be in the form of a semi-circle, an arc (or arch). Sometimes it’s nice to have a curved heading instead of a straight line in your writer document. To change the curve look for the orange dot in the text box. Leaving aside the ‘Warp’ options which distort the text, look at the four ‘Follow Path’ choices. Make your text within a Text Box then go to Formatting| WordArt Effects| Text Effects| Transform| Follow Path. Microsoft Word provides the tools you need to insert a predefined, rounded text box into your document or help you round the corners of an existing, sharp-edged text box. Text boxes with rounded rather that angular corners may help draw the attention of readers to important content in your documents. The process is the same using a Mac, looking for the WordArt icon that uses the blue, italicized 'A'. Highlight the sample text Word Art provided and update the text to your own words. This process doesn't allow me much flexibility in modifying the text or the curvature after the fact. This works but is archaic, believing that Pages should be robust enough to perform this function as well, given it's claim to being a Word Processing/Page Layout product. I have previously done this by using Word, creating the necessary text in WordArt and then copying it to my Pages document. I found the rotate commands but nothing for my current need. Is there some key combination that will allow me to modify (click/drag) the Text Box containing my text to create a curve. I'm trying to create some documents and am in need of adding some curved text (similar to WordArt) in Pages.
